DMP Final Script DMP Artist Educator Statement: In an artistic sense, I learned a lot from completing this project. Never before had I devised my own show, accounting with a group of people for every small detail to ensure that our message and theme was conveyed clearly. One of the ways that I helped to contribute to the project was through the composing of the script. I helped our group come up with the lines that were to be said and how they should be said. This was an interesting process with which I had never previously engaged. I did not realize how intentional and precise we would have to be with every line of the script. I learned that there is a major difference between a sentence that changes just a few words, and the way that sentence is delivered orally also alters the meaning.
